I use two primary modalities: Acupuncture and CranioSacral Therapy. Acupuncture is the insertion of very fine needles into specific sites on the body in order to correct imbalances and alleviate pain. All acupuncture needles are single-use, disposable, sterile needles.
CranioSacral Therapy comes from a completely different tradition. In fact, it was developed by Western osteopaths in the late 19th and mid 20th centuries. CranioSacral therapy is a very gentle, noninvasive manual therapy. The primary goal is to find and release tension in the soft tissues within and around the spine and skull, but the techniques are easily adapted to the rest of the body.
I am also trained in Chinese Herbal Medicine and will prescribe herbal remedies if necessary.
